Tell us a little about yourself...
I'm Aurora and I live in Pesaro, a small seaside town. I studied Art History at the University of Bologna, a subject I've been passionate about since childhood because I grew up in a family where art has always been a daily bread.
How did your passion for art begin?
My dad is a painter, and ever since I was very little, I loved spending afternoons in his studio, experimenting with brushes and colors, creating my first "masterpieces." I've always visited museums, and the museum has always been my happy place. Every time I step into a museum, it's as if I can escape reality, and my mind starts to wander: for me, a kind of magic happens. My favorite artists are Mark Rothko, Francis Bacon, Cy Twombly, and Anselm Kiefer.
I also have a great love for animals and a strong passion for fashion and design; as I always say, I love everything that is beautiful. Now I work with children, with whom I also organize art workshops. It's a job I love and that brings me great satisfaction.
I love traveling and visiting new places, accompanied by my husband, who has been my best travel and life companion for 16 years.
What is your dream?
My dream is to travel the world and see everything I've only seen (so far) in books.
What does "light" mean to you?
Light for me is love, giving and receiving it. Light is my husband's smile, the gaze of my dog, light is family.
