My name is Anna Bassi and I was born in Verona, to an Italian mother and a Nigerian father. I study Educational Sciences, but what keeps me busiest right now is music, for which I have always had a great passion. When I was 20 I started studying singing and now I am a singer-songwriter.
Since 2016 I have stopped doing covers and write my own songs. Currently, together with a band that accompanies me, I am working on a musical project called Anna Bassy. Our genre is Soul, but very much contaminated by other influences, because the group has diverse musical backgrounds. We organize live sessions on YouTube and our new single will be released this month. Music represents for me the means to tell who I am because in life I am a bit shy and reserved.
My light is precisely her, music, which has always guided me through all moments of my life. Sometimes it is a stronger flame and other times it is a little more to seek. But generally, I am the kind of person who always seeks "LIGHT". I look for it in a bit of everything I do.
