My name is Elisa Castellari, I am 28 years old and I am from Verona. Years ago I moved to Milan to study finance at Università Cattolica, and it was during that period that I started working for an important footwear showroom belonging to a large French group. From there, my great passion for the world of shoes began, which today has become a brand, MyChalom.
It all began during a weekend in Tel Aviv. Almost by chance, I found myself in a market where trimmings and fabrics were sold. There, I had the idea of applying them to a pair of sandals. That first customized pair actually became the first My Chalom model. I started selling on Instagram, hand-making the various pieces that were ordered, and in 2018, I decided to open a company with the aim of offering my clients a pair of shoes with which they could take their first step to conquer the world. Today, our production takes place entirely in Italy, specifically in Marche, Lombardy, and Campania, and we offer clients shoes that are above all beautiful and comfortable.
For me, the word "light" means freedom, energy, and independence. Light is also the balance between work and affections and the possibility of giving space to my passions, which are music and travel.
