My name is Vanessa, I'm 28 years old, and three years ago I opened a clothing store in the province of Verona, in the Valpolicella area. My store is called Matrioska and represents the realization of my biggest childhood dream. I was always torn between the world of fashion and the academic world. So I enrolled at the University of Padua, in the faculty of political science, and studied Russian, with the idea that in the future I would move to that country that I love so much.
Meanwhile, I traveled across Italy working at vintage markets to indulge my other great passion, which is fashion. After graduation, the opportunity to move to Russia also arose. I decided to accept, but before leaving, I returned to Verona for a few months, discovering that I really liked the atmosphere of this city. I saw the place where I was born, the place I had been away from for a significant period, with new eyes, and I fell in love with it. I decided to stay and start my project.
The name Matrioska thus expresses my passion for Eastern European countries and embodies the synthesis of my goal: to satisfy the tastes of women from different generations. I never wanted a fixed target because I believe there's no age limit for fashion.
"Luce" is everything that makes me wake up happy in the morning. It's the life I'm building. My family, my boyfriend, my work.
