My name is Caterina, I'm 21 years old and I was born in Verona but adopted by Romagna. My family and I spend every summer on the Riviera; from June to September we move between Riccione and Bologna, because my parents met there and we love those areas.
I love Verona but sometimes it feels a bit small for me, so I try to move around and travel as much as possible.
I study Business Economics in Milan and dream of becoming an accountant.
In my plans, there's an Erasmus program or I'd like to spend a year abroad, maybe in Australia or London. I'm very close to my family and friends, so even though I love seeing the world, I like the idea of being able to return.
I am very athletic; I've tried many sports. The latest in Milan was boxing, and I've already done skydiving and bungee jumping. These are the gifts I like most and always ask for for my birthdays. Experiences and travel are at the top of my wish list.
I am romantic and a dreamer, but at the same time very stubborn. If I have something in mind, I know I have to do it. My dad raised us with the saying: "where there's a will, there's a way." So, "believe in your dreams and always try, because if you want to, you can" is my mantra.
There is light in all of us. With different shades and intensities, but each of us shines in our own way.
There isn't anyone who is incapable of shining. Everyone has a bright world within them.
For me, a person who truly embodies light is my aunt Anna. She has been both a mother and a grandmother to me, and when I grow up, I'd like to be like her. Red lipstick and a bicycle every day. She's seventy, works in a shop, and enjoys keeping busy. She inspired me to face life always with a smile.
