Luigina was introduced to me by Greta Casagrande, who collaborated with me on this project. Luigina is all in her gaze. You can read her from there, diving into her sea-colored eyes. She is strength and immense sweetness in one body. She is 70 years old and has a wonderful story where the protagonist, as in all the most beautiful stories, is love. Originally from Trento, after high school, she fell in love with a handsome boy from Marche who owned a hairdresser's shop in Levico Terme. That boy became her mentor at work but, above all, her husband in life. They spent forty-five years together, and today Luigina loves to remember him.
What do you do for a living?
I haven't worked for ten years, and in the last 5 years, I've traveled a lot. I've been to Israel, Jordan, Iran, Russia, the United States, Spain, and France. I miss my husband very much, but this fills me. The world is beautiful, there are many traditions, and people, with their diverse cultures, always have something interesting to tell.
What does LIGHT mean to you?
My grandson Lorenzo and my son Emanuele. Besides them, definitely playing the piano. It's a great passion of mine, and I've been taking piano lessons for two years. Music has always been a part of my life. I come from a family of enthusiasts; my mother was a great connoisseur of opera, and we had a grand piano at home that my dad played. I'm also part of a choir.
Do you have an object that particularly represents you?
To be honest, many objects. I live in a house where I only have objects that I like to see and have around. There isn't one in particular. Perhaps the things my husband gave me that remind me of him. Remembering my husband brings me a lot of joy.
What do you always have in your bag?
My red lipstick. For the rest, I only carry the bare essentials, but lipstick is always with me.
Your favorite beauty products?
My favorite perfume is "Scandal" by Jean Paul Gaultier, but for winter, I also use "Must" by Cartier.
