Hi Ester, tell us about yourself...
I'm Ester, 31 years old, and I live in Lecce, in the beating heart of Salento. The things I love most are my family, my partner, my two dogs, and my dearest friends. And I immensely love my job. On paper, I'm a Visual Merchandiser; in life, I'm a Menswear Specialist for an Italian men's clothing company, but I also offer personalized style consultations, styling, and follow creative projects for brands that want to shoot photo campaigns in my area and contact me to know how/where/who. I love traveling, fitness, and animals, which is why I'm a vegetarian.
What does beauty mean to you today, and what inspires you?
I'd start by saying that beauty and inspiration are absolutely connected for me. The former is preparatory to the latter. Beauty is in everything for me: in my favorite breakfast in the morning or in the route I strictly take by bicycle to go to work, passing through the historic center of my city where the beauties are countless. In a walk by the sea with my dogs, in a hug with my boyfriend. It's beautiful to be comfortable with oneself without much fuss, and it's beautiful to have one's own place where one can express one's idea, one's personality, one's style in total freedom. This is precisely what I want to do through my Instagram profile; I want to convey my idea of beauty. A beauty made of simple daily life, but also of small and large joys such as: a trip, a more refined garment, a special occasion, a Michelin-starred dinner that you can enjoy from time to time.
What does inclusivity mean to you?
For me, the term inclusivity should have a very broad meaning. It's the concept of normality that must engulf that of inclusivity. No one should feel different. Then, different from whom? From what? Who decided what we should look like? No one. Everyone should, in my opinion, start from here to feel comfortable. The beauty of the world is precisely this normal diversity that makes everyone unique, unrepeatable, and indispensable to themselves.

What are your future plans?
In the future, I would like to have my own vegetarian restaurant, but that's a very long-term project.
One thing people who follow you don't know about you?
That I want a restaurant; my followers don't know that, and I don't think they'd expect it.
